Evening
Just had the car mot'ed and it failed i have a couple of questions for you all.
My car is a corsa 1.4 16v and it failed on a steering rack.Question
1.how much am i looking at to get the job done at a garage
2. Is it a big job
3.how much for a rack on it's own?
any help would be great.

I had Excessive play in my steering rack when i failed my mot on the Corsa SRi, Went to the scrappies i got the rack and all the Power steering bits to do a retro fit for £70 then Paid Bodge-up-borris my local mechanic £40 to Fit it, Job done

It's probably fucked track rod ends. Probably about a tenner a side plus fitting and tracking. No more than £50.
