More proof that things are getting more subtle, even the chavs are doing it!
How are we going to be differant now? With "subtle" being the in thing now?

i dont know about all this. Half the charm of these mags were the stupidly modified small engined cars. If i wanted to look at highly tuned cars I'd go on youtube. I dont GAF about the stats of them, its boring.

I would rather magazines feature good quality cars that are interesting to read about. All this fasion stuff is a load of bollocks if you ask me.

they are just jumping on the same bandwagon as max power. have realised that all the tits and silly kitted cars is not where the modifying scene is going.

I wouldn't call it a bandwagon. It would appear that the are both responding to feedback regarding their direction. No harm in that.

To be fair though REDLINE has never been one for "Just" Chavy Motors, its always had a performance car aspect to it... take TOTB for example.

To be honest I enjoy all sides of the Modifying world but seeing and reading about performance cars with crazy engine conversions, stripped out and tuned track cars etc is by far my favourite.

Take the latest REDLINE project car for example, a Yaris with a 300bhp MR2 engine in the rear.... to me this makes for an interesting build and is great to follow the progress of its build.

oh and lovin Dahlbacks 500bhp RWD Polo on the cover
