Right yes i'm dumb, I never got taught how to do an application in writing, or shown etc, and im not 100% sure what it means .. yes a blonde moment!
Anyway there's a couple of jobs going that I am interested in, but they want me to apply in writing along with sending my CV, I have done my CV just need to figure out how to complete a good one..
One of the jobs i'll be applying for is for an Accountants, and the other for an estate agents!
Any idea's examples would be greatly appreciated!

search CV templates on google or application form templates. there are also some on microsoft word.
not the best but definitely good if, like me, you don't know where to begin

Basically put together a covering letter detailing why you to apply for the job, the skills/qualities you can bring to the role & then say you want to further your career, etc.

No, it shouldnt be in your CV.
It's quite easy Kat - just expand on your CV and take it from there.
Here's an example:

Spot on lol
I always look at cv's and covering letters when they apply for jobs I seen one cv and it had some guys photograph on it. He looked like borat he was saying stuff like "my wife has had a baby I need extra money but I cant work, this day and that day". I was like as if ur gonna get a job putting that in ur covering letter haha, the position was for full time aswell

your cv should only contain facts....not I'm a team player and I am hard working and that sort of crap.
CV is for education and employment and personal details.
Your covering letter should be about you.....why you'd be good at the job, what you could offer etc

My employer asks that you respond to the person specification and supply a paragraph or so in response for each point.
Just start it exactly as a normal letter and title it with the job title, then just say something like 'I wish to apply for the above position and present my letter of application'
Then list the person spec bits and answer each one. Obviously you need to have their requirements in order to do this of course.
