i get all sorts of crap, from deals about tv's and my mortage (i don't even own a house), to random crap saying this girls doing a survey or stuff saying i've been tagged or added to some friendbook thing.

That's the point, they use random words and hardly ever make sense in order to get around spam filters. If more ISPs and relay hosts used SPF checking then a lot more could be stopped. BT seem to do pretty well though. My trash always contains caught messages online but hardly a spam email gets downloaded to my Outlook client.

i used to have them sent to my college email all the time like 4 or 5 a day bloody annoying. stopped though recently did find out though a few weeks ago it was a mate that had signed me up for them.

the spam filters at work dont pick them up as they are not typed they are a picture of typeing. i get loads, they do my head in
