for speeding like a twat....enough said!! (dont want to talk about that)

anyways...... thinking about semi smoothing my boot while im banned.....how easy is this?

my dad can weld a plate over the lock/wiper holes. would you advise DIY or pay to get it done properly?

well if he is going to weld it all you will need to do is grind it back and smooth it over with filler

grind it back.. i think hed welld it from inside the boot lid? i could be wrong though.

You cut the metal to the size of the hole and weld it in. Then grind back and get it as smooth as possible before putting filler on. No point in just welding behind the hole and using loads of filler on it as you don't need to.
