i know there is a legal limit on window tints but iv had mine on for 2 and half yrs and neva had probs till now!!!
i get in car and wait to get out of my street where a cop van passes then another car and then i pull out. as i did i saw the cop van turn round and i knew it was for me as cause of my car. she follows me for a while then stops me on a straight road (busy, so im lookin like a tool) and says ur front 2 windows are a bit dark im guna call another officer to test them as im not from here!!
the other guy comes and tests them yhe says theyr supposed to let no less than 70% light. (at this point i fort fuck lol as mine are dark. and mine read 15% lol. so they gave me 30 quid fine and got to remove them.
my car guna look shite now casue i have limo black tints on back 3. corsa b's windows come 75% tinted as standard!!!!! so 5% wont look different!!!
I need help to get em off. i got em fitted so can that company take em off for me??? so pissed off.
sorry for story lol

you drive around in a car that breaks the law, it is not the police' fault that you fitted illegal tints to your car, asking for trouble.
dont see what your issue is tbh

To be fair mate, i can understand were your coming from, But its the police you cant do anything about it, so you just have to deal with it, I did and got up with 3 points. Consider your self lucky they didn't take your car of the road, my mate had his 306 taken of the road for tints, had to get it re-motd and everything because he argued with them.

I work for a sign company and we get this new tint stuff which allows the correct amount of light through, but at the same time looks dark, bit like what they put on buildings.
