i've got a yellow flappy with a hazard sign on it where the seat belt locks into? does this mean i need to buy some new pretentioners? or can i reset it?

yes, you can seperate the seat belt buckle and the long tubular pretensioner from the seat rails, but if the scrappy dont want much then you may aswell take the hole lot

usually there are two female torq bolts in the back and two two hooks in the front

then to seperate the rails and pretensioner from the seat there are 4 nuts 2 front 2 rear

ok cheers for that

one last question is it easy to unbolt the seat from the sub frame?

(basically i got some cally leathers and the pre-tension bit is fucked. if i can take my sport seat off and leave the sub frame i can put the cally seats on)

How much force does it take to set the pretensioners off?
A big front ender?

One belt on my corsa has the yellow tab showing, and its had the bumper replaced. All the chassis legs,slam panel are straight tho so the force wasn't much.

They pass mot even with them showing too, altho the tester gave me some crap about the belt not working at all if the car was crashed, which imo is bo**ox as the intertia reel still locks.

not sure on the force to active them as i got the seats with fucked sub frames on.

mine went off wen i crashed my 1st corsa thru a stone wall, was quite a big impact lol
