We were down last night at the VIP preview night of Embrace... great club, 5 rooms, £3m... still feels like a cinema though...
Last night I wasn't working, tonight I am... gonna be a good night!! Anyone coming?... I recommend it!

It was busy last night but there were only industry people there, few minor celebs, Lee from holyoaks was there etc...
Wednesday night they had a 'dry run'... filled the place with students and let them use it first... if anything went wrong it was that night so they could have it sorted for last night... tonight is just a punter night so will be rammed!!!
I'm there with the film crew tonight, going to be around the club getting some shots of people doing what they do

Just in now... the door staff turned away over 1 thousand people...
I stood in on thier brief before and the manager told them excuses they should use...
If they were too ugly to come in they were told they weren't dressed smart enough
If they weren't dressed as they desired they were just told that
If they had no reason for not letting someone in they didn't like, they just told them it was an over 25s night
Club still reached capacity, was absolutly rammed, I came home early cos my job was just impossible... Very good night though!

yeh old Kingdom......same old shit as Kingdom too. Bouncers and the club policies etc are still as wank, i.e not letting people in for wearing branded clothes.
I mean FFS - if someone is wearing a £65 Paul & Shark shirt you aren't allowed but they let anyone in with a ten bob Burtons top.
Was busy cos it just opened and had a lot of hype but give it 12 months and it will be as shite as the old mingdom

I remember when Kingdom opened....I went to the opening night. It wasn't open that long if its been changed already!

Don't think its anything to do with price of clothes...just that maybe the sort of people who wear stuff with names all over them are chavs who shouldn't be let in.
Paul & Shark, Lacoste, Stone Island.....typical chav clobber.

John Carter is on at plug tonight, fancied it but got footy in morning.
Our lass is off to Kingdom/embrace Monday, personally find all them commercial nightclubs a load of toss, out soley to make coin, might be nice for a few month, but i agree will end up like the rest . Bed in Shef was the bollox, shame there arn't more like that.
at Club Wow, i never went, used to be a bus from Barnsley every saturday, but never got round to it, this was like when we were 16/17 so can imagine what it would have been like.
