I will probably be buying a set of V6 callipers of a user at PVS.

Does it matter what car they came off for me to get the correct pads? ie, Vectra, Calibra etc.

And what discs do you all use with that setup? standard V6 discs redrilled to four stud, or Fiat Coupe ones with the boltholes elongated?

Is it recommended to go for braided hoses with them? If so, what ones?

Thanks guys

I'd go for the Fiat discs and normal GM pads which are right for the car the calipers came from (IIRC, the Calibra calipers differ slightly from the Vectra ones), hoses, goodridge.

Nope, as I am buying them already off the car, and the seller doesn't know which car they are from.

Which discs am I after Robin, Fiat Coupe Turbo 288mm ones?

I THINK the calipers are off a calibra. But if you look at the pics I sent you Tom, one looks alot older than the other, so they may be off differenct cars

Ahh ok, as Steve from LMF has quoted me £103 for a pair of 4 stud 288mm discs delivered, but thats quite a lot.

Any idea how much an engineering firm would charge to alter the PCD of the discs?

and how wide are the discs, 24mm?

From looking at the pictures and the website Rob posted, they look to me like Vectra V6 ones?

Thanks for the extra info Scott

you don't need to pay someone to alter the pcd tom, just sit there with a round file for 2 mins, it's only 1mm per hole.

they might even go on without changing

The brakes themselves are a straight swap. IIRC you need 3mm spacers with speedlines.
