Can you pay money into the cash machines outside the bank?
Just wondering, because i need to pay some money in tonight if possible, got a payment due to go out tomorrow, and need to top my account up!

i paid money into my bank using a cash machine that was on the outside of the bank??
takes about 3 days to process though i think

some do have them. You need a paying in slip and one of their envelopes aswell though which usually arent outside.

my local hsbc dispenses an envelope and you can pay in using the outside atm
I would rather lose by a mile because i built my own car, than win by an inch because someone else built it for me.

cash should be same day, but if you put it into the wall then it wont be done until the next morning at the earliest, but more than likely the next evening when they put the cheques through.

Ah right  . I know i've used the paying in one inside, and it's been done the same day, never used a hole-in-the wall one though .
Just go drop it through the letter box with you details on, it'll be fine 
TBH, i'm surprised someone's never done this, lost there money, then got the bank to foo tthe bill because they were never told they couldn't do it
