must have had some thought, it has a dizzy, takes some doing to move a dizzy,
and also why is it a waste?
its a engine, ower obviously seen it as a better move for whatever reason and did it,
its like there is a rs200 "i think" with a impreza/legacy engine

its obviously mocked up in the bay, but to say its not real is resonably amsuing, look at the dizzy, thats not a vaux one, its one converted for RWD etc

There's Ford Escort *I think* (can't remember exactly because it was near on 4years ago) out there with a C20XE in it. Was on show parked opposite my car on the VxlSCC stand in 2003 at Trax:

Not a very good pic, but the car was absolutely immaculate and the engine bay and all the work was spot on.

There was a lengthy discussion on Mig about the YB Vs LET.
To sum it all up...
The LET is just as good as the YB. Some parts of the YB is better than the LET, but the LET also has a lot better parts in other areas. I'll find the post, its a good read up.
To sum up, theres more people into Fords hence a lot more development, but the LET is a superb engine and just as good as the YB.
And that Yellow Escort is running neigh on 300bhp!!!!!! On an XE.
XE is very popular in Mk2 escorts.
Have a read up.....
