Was at somerset stages rally yesterday and the guy in the video has sold this corsa now thats in the vid and got a proton but just thought would see if any vids around, he is an nutter to watch drive but the power out of the engine is insane seeing as its a 1.4 but thats what 20k gets you,

I dont no why he sold the corsa for a proton, the corsa was insane last year and sounded sweet, loved seeing it on the stages

to be fair, the proton is just as quick, but imo his talent is wasted in these cars he should be in a world car (if i had it my way he would be in with ford taking over from mathew wilson)

I agree he's a much better talent than Matt
But Matt's got the backing
He should be in the BRC at least, would be good to see how he would go against Higgins and co

i watch alot of rallying and thatis one of the quickest fwd cars iv seen. very quick and he can drive it aswell!

why did he not buy a 1.6 and then surely the amount he's spent on it would make it mor epowerful than a 1.4?

Its regulations. My guess is that it is a x16xe restricted to 1400cc

keith piper had 194bhp or something through his 1.4 16v, before it blew the biggest hole in the block you've ever seen, and then caught on fire

You could sleeve it down, but then it'd be a really odd, long stroke, small bore 1.4, which wouldn't want to rev
