The Service is now due on the missus GP Active Sport.

Quote from dealer £195

Spoke to local garage and was told to get a first service pack £40 and they would do it for about £50 as it was only oil and spark plugs

How can dealers get away with this!!


Also I am assuming that everything will be in this kit, is this the case?

As long as you can prove you have used Genuine parts then you dont have to have it done at Fiat.

Any garage can do it.

PS.. i used to work at Fiat and we were told never to tell customers that!

The dealer told me that I could take my car to any garage that was registered to some body of mechanics and service the car. But they must use approved or genuine parts to do the service. I'm even pissed off with that because all a service is is an oil and filter change and a bit of an inspection
