im wanting to paint most of my interior, i know how to paint etc, but ive never done car interior panels before, how hard is it to sand off the texture on teh plastic? does it take long to sand interiors

not hard but a right pain in the arse and takes ages - I'd look to key the surface slightly; removing any build up of silicone etc. Then build up layers of filler primer, sanding back between each coat

oh remembering your first couple of covering layers will need to be plastic primer; anything else wont bond with the surface
