Depends on how much you spend really although they do make a difference over standard speakers.Will sound loads better amped up too.

Maybe repost in ice and electrical for better knowledge mate!

i ran mine from the wires for the standard rear speakers and ran a sub and amp too and they sounded fine

k...yeh i posted it in here by mistake.Cant afford an amp/sub like. Just wantin a better sound than standard speakers

Well they sound better than standard. Iv got some infinity reference 9613i and i got them for £20, 100W rms

i've gotta set of amped 6x9s and i had the guys who fitted them adjust the filters on the amp to send more bass to the 6x9s. (there rainbow KX 6x9s btw)

although you don't quite get the real low end you would on a sub, they handle the punchier bits (bass drums etc) really nicely.

6 x 9s are ideal if not fitting a subwoofer.. why have a speaker that makes bass then another to make bass and focal?
