Whats every1 got for runabouts or workhorses
this is mine  , got it for £270 2years ago, never had much bother with it execept the 1st 2pics is where the wheel fell off 
arches have been done but i dont see the point in painting them cos ill have the car till it dies
its an 1800 16v CD astra, home made backbox lowering springs, plenty oil leaks, and a buggered IAC valve that makes it cut out all the time,
tried 17's for a week but didnt really go with the cars purpose so ditched them again
rough estimate in the past 2years its had £80 spent on it, its passed 2mot's needing minimal work, and it did 137mph last saturday
whats sheds every1 else got?

1.6, 121k, quietest 8v engine I've EVER heard, only noise is the belt making a rushing noise.

i had a cav 1.6 but it was just an 'L' spec, it was a dung heap, had a demolition derby with it then scrapped it

how the hell do you turn good with it as low as that at the front? or am i missing something?
surely the arches cut into the tyre?

Does the calliper look in the middle of the wheel then? to me, it looks low, meaning the wheel has fallen off and gone upwards.

caliper just looks like any other one 
i'm driving around a 1.2 sxi corsa, it is a scrap heap sometimes as it decides to burn oil in a very fast time

ive had mine checked, had new brakw cyinders last year yet it manages to lose brake fluid every 3-4 months!

My runabout, work horse, everyday driver:
I really dont see why any1 would want a run about, a car is to get you from A - B, if not whats the point of having it! Seem stupid to have a nice car and not drive it!!
