hi,
i bought a new car a week ago (c20xe corsa) and its got a few problems.
most of them are under control except i have a leak which is coming from the sump gasket but also looks like there is a leak further up. i hope the head aint leaking.
also when i had the front wheels off and the car was on stands after doing an oil change i started up the car (out of gear) and the osf driveshaft started spinning 
any1 had this problem and is the shaft just slack???
help appreciated.

Its perfectly normal. i member i shit me self first time i did it. but every car does it,.

But wouldn't both shafts spin if that was the case??

Not always. sometimes just one spins sometimes both do. i dont understand why but i know its perfectly normal.

yeah it is normal mate dont worry,as for the leak.cant think what that would be.the car is mechanically sound when my cousin had it and the engine was fitted proffesionally
how did you get the car in the end????standard bonnet

yours *wheel* single will turn when in neutral because of somthing to do with the flywheel?
somebody clarify for me

na a got it with the extended bonnet... the bloody thing is leakin oil from everywhere... sump and possibly crank oil seal.

oh btw the shaft was really loose the nut at the end wasnt on right and the pad carrier was rubbing against the disc because of it,.
