I've recently purchased a pretty bad condition Corsa, complete with a few rust bubbles and dents, does anybody have an idea as to how much a respray would cost, and how much it would cost to fix these problems?

It's pretty bad, so it's something I would like to get done!

Cheers!
P.S, Hi i'm new

Hello and welcome. Best bet would be to find some bodyshops in your area and get some quotes, prices vary from place to place so you won't get an accurate quote on here.

Welcome!

In answer to your question it's a case of how longs a piece of string.

depends on where you live no honest, for eg if you had a bodyshop in london the rent and overheads will be far higher than on a farm in whales...

Hi,

My mates MK3 golf had a respray (on the outside only - doors shut etc) for around £800. But i'm thinking that was on the cheaper side...

As suggested, go to Allof you local bodyshops, get prices but more importantly look at thier work
Good work = Higher Price (Usually)

if its a totally different colour change then it will cost more. but keeping it the same colour, i would say between 800 and 1000.

Thanks people, i'm in Nottingham and it's a bright green colour!

Not sure if it's worth paying that much for, think i'll just use it as my run around for now until I can afford a car in good condition!

Only paid 300 for it!

You've started with the car, so if your planning on modifying a corsa i would stick with it and build it how you want, you can ever choose a new colour to go with your project

Thanks for the help and opinions people, i'll take some pictures soon for all to see how bad the body work is on it, I could make a profit on the car I think so I may just sell and get something better to mod.

Anybody selling a standard 1.2 or 1.4 corsa in good condition cheap?

Well i've decided i'm going to *try* to sell my car, so if you know anyone selling a bog standard 1995ish Corsa in and around the East Midlands I would be interested!

Will still post pics some time soon, think when and if I get a new car i'll post my progress on here for all to see

God it looks like im spamming this thread!

Well i've spoke to my friend who's brother had his car sprayed for £400 by a friend, and said I might be able to get the same price, provided I try sort the rust/dents out myself. Think i'm going to go for that and have it sprayed black.

OOooooh the choices.
