it will make a Roar when you plant your foot, it will drink all your fuel, and probally put a flat spot in your rev range.

If it has a recerculating DV, it may make it louder as my mates Golf GTi had a kit on it and the "tish" cam out of the Ind-Kit :S

I had pvd bfo fillter fitted to mine befor it was crashed. sounds alot deeper at idle and on the overrun. and the turbo wistel was very loud under load 205tom hatted it!! i liked it tho
