just got in to find i have a letter from hertfrodshire constabulary
saying i have driven Dangerously and/or without due care and attension
wtf i dont remember this

my mate was reported by a do gooder, he overtook said do gooder on chevrons as the guy was only doing 40mph in a 60mph,
the police turned up at his work and asked him to sign a document, which was actually a full confession of the offence,
he ended up banned for 6months for careless driving,

Go into ure local Piggy station and they shuld have a record and ask to speak to the officer that apparently witnessed the offence.

i got one of these aparrently for driving back to fast from ace cafe.
i got another letter saying no further action will be taken. as it was only witnessed by one copper.
hope its nothing m8..

Call them now? I got a letter like this a about 2 yrs ago but it was just a warning letter about somecruise I attended in bolton lol just that it was illegal and not to bother turning up again or I would be in trouble basically haha...

Call them and ask then for time, place and exactly what you are supposed to of done
They wont be able to tell you who reported you, but remember it may not of been a civilian, it may have been a police officer passing etc that witnessed you
If it were me i'd want to see proof, where, time etc check where you were that day (at work etc)

Just deny all knowledge, unless that have evidence its your word against theres and that won't stand up in court because of what alledgedly some do gooders saw you doing.

ok some feckin do gooder reported me to be "apperently speeding"
i denied all knowledge of it  i said i havnt been any where near the spose to be LOCATION for at least 2 years
now i have to fill the form and send it back
