Today i fitted my tweeters into the black plasticy thing behind the mirrors......
Sound much better than the stardard ones, and sounds much better now i have the full compenent set fitted (apline SXE1750S).
Although i belive that the stock tweeters are still on :O....surley this cant be good. How do i get to the wiring to cut them off??
At the mo its connected as follows.....Original speaker wire in door goes to one of them adaptor things. Then this plugs in to the alpine loom which goes to the Driver and Tweeter. **there no crossover. There is a blocking Capacitor in the loom. But the original tweeter is still connected to the original loom somewhere, i need to get rid or i might be putting to much of a load on my HU.
PS i only had the bottom half of the door card off as i couldnt get the handles off.
Also im going to be amping the speakers in a few weeks. Whats the best way to get my own speaker wires into the doors??
