OK, mates clutch on his mini has gone, need to tow it to my mates garage a couple of miles away. But, no towing eye on a mini, where do i loop the rope? Ov's on the chassis somewhere, but where!

There will be a tow eye in the boot which you screw into the front somewhere.

Yup, should screw in. Look for the wheel jack etc.

Another clutch gone on another Mini, they suffer terrible with this.

If it's an old one, loop a rope around the tie bar, there is no towing point.

Behind the bit where there's a hole, there's a bar, wrap the rope round that, lik I did.

OMG don't mention towing a mini to Colin......

He had a rather bad experience last time, my mum was towing us and we were at her mercy!! She's rather heavy on the pedals, she pulled out onto a main road screaching round a bend, we were bouncing all over the road!!

PS no idea where you attach the rope
