I'd stick with a standard car tbh.

not really,

a 2ltr corsa struggles for grip
a 2ltr turbo corsa is near undrivable on boost more when tuned,

so in a mini it would get annoying

rs turbo engine, vtech, i would like to see a r5 turbo in 1. buy a min magazine and they have adverts with converion kits

R5 turbo engine has been done.

Pretty much every engine has been done in fact.

C20XE/LET ones are far too heavy over the front.

ive saw a one with a 20XE in at croft, im sure it was painted the same as the gt40 with gulf on that may have been a different one. also saw a 2.0 honda lump in one, which was parked next to it.

missus has a tuned 1300 mini cooper 1995. is about 85-90bhp iirc and is pretty nippy. I send hours keeping it ruuning perfectly so un less you have time/tools dont bother.

Mate also has a Mini with a 1.6 Vtec engine running 190+bhp was a lot of work, buts its a proper monster on the track
