Umbrella company = Giant (Don't use them they are shite)
Jobs through the following:
reed.co.uk
cwjobs.co.uk
jobserve.com
I am soon going to get an accountant and start my own limited company as umbrella companies are shite.

Was there not a change recently that meant the umbrella companies weren't as good for dodging the tax as limited companies?

I work freelance and I get plenty of work without even looking for it. Mostly it's just having mates in related working environments such as events management and PR, and when they need things doing for me. Then if someone they know asks for something doing they pass on my details. It's all about who you know IMO.
If people know you're good at what you do, and you are reliable and trustworthy you'll get work no bother fella.
