Im thinking of going for one nearing the end of the year.
Does any think it would be an improvement from the S3? I would have to go for an orange ST-3 and I would want to tune it to around 300bhp.
I love the S3 but I dont want to start losing alot of money through depreciation. If I sell it at the end of the year I will only have to put 7kish down for an ST.
ST - Lower mileage, newer car etc
S3 - Very quick, reliable, its cool as feck
Thoughts?

VS

Any facts about tunning the ST (idea is to be quicker or equal to S3 - S3 chipped and re-map)
What would you do?

focus will probably have more torque, and might feel faster but your hardly upgrading cars in performance terms. i would keep the s3 and get it remapped seeing as you were looking at tuning the focus.
if you want to tune a hot hatch then you will get the most out of it if it has 4wd with british weather

You don't want to loose money in depreciation, so your selling a car - minimum 4 years old now- thats just got off it's depreciation curve, to sell it for a common Ford Focus, that's going to drop in price like a lead baloon, and is still in the middle of it's depreciation curve???

S3 boring hence why I didnt get one in the end.
ST more entertaining to drive just stupidly thirsty
Something else maybe? Meganne F1?
Or a complete different kettle of fish and a proper car like an E46 m3?
