There's STANDARD 2003 53 ones on Autotrader for £4800, with 55/60k on them, so I reckon it's worth £5800-6k

not many people would buy a done-up/modded van for work. i think it looks to cool to be used for work

its worth the same as them? why just cause it has some alloys and a couple of other bits and pieces does that add a grand + on.

mods dont increase value

no its worth the same as an astra van year 53, in good condition, condition affects value not mods

I disagree.

Irmscher bits add value, fact.

2 cars/vans of the same age, conditon and mileage, but one with irmscher stuff, will have different values.

in a lot of cases modded cars are harder to sell and can have to be dropped to lower than the equivalent model, or split

you see it happen all the time

you possibly have a case with the irmscher thing as its factory vauxhall stuff.

a lot of people think general mods add value mind

i sold it for less for a quick sale

iv never added value over a standard spec for any of my cars, the two most modded being the leon and old 106, i sold for either less than market, or around market

Steve your opinions on modded motors are clouding your brains thoughts in regards to business, market value etc. Stop being a cunt.
If there i 2 vans identical, but one has a set of wheels worth 800 quid for example, there is more equity in the van with the 800 quid wheels, think of it like that. A builder with any sense (this is an example) would pay 200 quid for for the one with wheels, take the wheels off and sell them for 400 quid.
