i dont care what i drive in lol, i did once try to drive in my size 13 steel toed work boots, and went to break but foot covered brake and accelerator, which was a bit scary so pulle dover and drove home bare footed

i can drive in anything apart from proper shoes as they just slip of the pedals and just have a weird feeling when driving in them.

I once drove my brother's car with football boots on. 
I forgot and thought I had trainers on. Pressed brake and thought where's the pedal.

i can't stand driving in shoes, absolutely hate it.
comfortable trainers that don't slip on the pedals are the best option 
high heels are a no-no
