Caught a cardboard box in the roof putting it down the other day and the roof stopped, had to close it manually.
Now it just beeps as soon as you unlock, turn ignition on or move the car.
Owners manual says once you have closed it manually you need to take it to the main dealer so I wanted to see on here first if anyone can get me an official answer for those with access to TIS.

i say pull the fuse, or disconect the battery for a hour or so then see

A lass here i work with had this problem 2 weeks ago, we went up Vauxhall and the young lad said sorry we are too busy, then pulled us to the side and said "make sure its closed properly, disconnect battery for around an hour" and hey press-stud, it worked!

Its closed with the allen key on the front edge of the roof, disconnected the battery but only for 30 minutes or so.
Going to try and open it fully then close it again see if that does anything.

Opened it manually and it fixed it!!
