Road version had 250bhp.

There were 2 other versions for motorsport, a subdued 500odd bhp one (unsure), and the full works 700bhp Eco monster. Mid 2.5 0-60, 0-100 in under 7 seconds.. Mainly used in RallyX.

"In the 1986 season Henri Toivonen lapped the Estoril circuit in a Lancia Delta S4 during the Portuguese rally. His fastest lap would have qualified him in the sixth position of the F1 Grand Prix that same season."

I remember this, i was 5!!!!!!

The garage who used to sponser my dads bike used to have one of the single figure cars that was a right hand drive. Full works rally Evo spec. He never ever drove it, it sat in the garage in the showroom as a "dribble" machine.
