How much difference do you find that stripping your car out makes?
to say a 1/4 mile run? am thinking of stripping mine a bit if it will make a difference,
i dont want to lose the carpet or sound deadening just a bit of ice. if i wont notice much difference then i wont bother.

depends what engine you have, sometimes the more road noise you can hear makes you think you are going faster

You would have to remove a considerable amount of KG's to make a decent difference i would have thought.
And then there is the noise issue Mine with just the seats out started getting unbearable

You could hear stuff flying around in the rear arches rain stones etc

pointless unless you remove as much as possible.
most of the real weight is under all of the carpet and stuff anyway so that all needs to come out. carpet weighs next to nothing so that can go back over the bare floor if needed.

My nova is completely stripped and i used to do 100 miles a day in it!
No heaters
No Stereo
No trim

i use to have 2 subs, 2 amps etc. got rid of them and then back seats and made a huge difference.
but then it was too loud with out the back seats etc so ended up putting them back in

i stripped my nova two weeks ago, and its made of nothing,and everythings gettin stripped out,so hopefully it should make a difference ? sounds ace

all the rear plastics, seats, and sound deadenings gone from mine.......just got a carpet and a couple doorcards.
makes hell of a difference! do it

I wouldn't do it again with a daily driver, it was a pain in the arse in the winter/rain/with passengers.

i dont want to go as far as sound deadening, as the car is my only car and needed for work everyday,
