Had an email earlier, asking me to leave feedback for an item I bought using buy it now, about 2 months ago.
I explained, that as I had paid instantly for the item, I had completed my end of the deal and that he should leave me feedback first, if he wants me to leave any feedback as thats the way it should work.
I've just had a really shitty email now, because I wouldn't leave him feedback

Thats what pisses me off about sellers. I pay instantly as soon as I've won/bought an item. As far as I concerned that's my part over with and have given no probs etc..
Leave your feedback till the very last day of the 90 day limit then sting him with a shitty negative

90% of selllers won't leave feedback until you have left them positive feedback...If you leave shitty they will do the same

I disagree, once the buyer has paid thats not the end of it, they could fuck you about not collecting deliveries from the post office, change their mind etc, once the buyer has left feedback to say they are satisfied with the item then they should get feedback from the seller.
If people know feedback has been left for them already and they havent left it for you, some people will try it on and threaten you with a negative if you dont do what they want.
If you purchase something as a buyer and you are happy with the item, the delivery and the transaction why not say so straight away. No reason to wait.

as an ebay seller this i agree with, been fucked over with some idiots before 1 didnt know why his stainless steel cover was green, i left him a good feedback then the nonce left me a bad one stateing his cover was green and not shiny so i sent him a msg saying remove the protective coating also had another who couldnt figure out why his cover didnt fit and left me negative after i left him a good feedback turns out he was puting it on upside down
so now i wait till i get feedback first

we are talking about sellers not leaving feedback even though you pay right away....Of course you are not going to leave feedback until you have the item you have bought..

well in that case, yes every item i have bought, the seller has said they will not leave feedback until i do so...
in my opinion, the seller should leave feedback whether it be + or - once the item has been paid for.
although i can see where you are coming from saying that they might not pick it up from the post office or say that they don't want it any more therefore messing you about.
