Any one have any ideas what the most power you can run through a frontera intercooler.... Actual experiances please not roumors people have hurd and passed on. Thanks

a 2.8 cooler is suitable for phase 3 power.

what bout 3.5 thats what i will be running will also have a intercooler perge bar for the hot days and traffic

You mean the 2.3 cooler. Yes it is alot smaller in cubic capacity as opposed to the 2.8.
Yeah you will be ok with ph3.5.

i used a frontera intercooler on my old corsa, was using phase 2 software and had no problems at all! Its perfect for anything upto 3.5 and is very easy to hide for sleeper effect.

Yeh well the frontera one is perfect then, slots behind the bumper with no cutting. Have a look in my garage.

any idea how much smaller the 2.3 is is it the actual cooler that is smaller or just the core inside

Both.

If you actually compare them there is a fair amout of difference.

If you buy it brand new from Vauxhall the trade price is around £170 i think. Good price for an FMIC that fits well and is nearly the same size as say an eds fmic.

The only thing with the Eds fmic is that they come with pipework and they do fit first time. Very easy to do.

iv got all 60mm pipe work already m8 off my other corsa turbo
