I've got a shitty second hand sofa which I bought off my ex's fit sister, was worth it just to see her again and smell her hair. But sure.
Are you feeling ok? do you need a hug?

well, without going into too much detail, my ex is making my life hell what with the house and stuff. I'm thinking about just cutting all ties and moving back with parents and be done with it. Plus my job doesn't exactly motivate me anymore and I've been struggling to get up in the mornings and get in on time
bla bla bla bla....

Well we have a new month coming up, make a effort to have new outlook on things and use it as a starting point to change your life.
If the house is fucking you financially and you are still tied into it with the megabitch then maybe look into selling up or whatever and going back to the parents.
With thigns shit at home its not going to make work not such an excellent experience. If you think the problem is abit more deep rooted then that then have a discussion with your boss, they may be able to help in some way tha tyou didnt think was possible before.

Have had a word with the boss, she's been cool about everything.
Half of me wants to try and make a go of keeping the house, the other half is telling me to move back home and start again.

you're only 24 this year, as much as a house is a sound investment (I'm asumming you've bought it) maybe you'd prefer to have the money in your pocket to have fun?
Is the house half owned with the ex lady?

This is what I'm thinking... go back home, save what I would have paid out on the mortgage and have some fun...
The mortgage is in both of our names. I need to ring them today to get her name taken off (if indeed it's as easy as that, something is telling me it's not going to be). A member of my family mentioned that I would need to re-mortgage the property, there's no way they would lend me that kind of money based on just my wage.
And to top things off, I got up this morning to find the dog had shit all around the kitchen. Think he's ill

If your dog shits all over the house thats a good sign! It means will start getting better for you....... (im sure its a good sign in some country!)
I know where your coming from about the job side of things, I find myself waking up 5min later each morning, pushing it close to the limit of being late and each day caring less and less if i am late!

Sell the dog.
Get her name off the mortgage
Find some people to live in your house and pay rent (for the mortgage)
Move back to parents
Sit back and watch your investment pay itsself off?

Don't let things get to that, you need to be pro-active about sorting yourself out, talk to your boss, go to some interviews, take some days off to chill out.

Exactly AdZ9.
I never thought about renting it out Willay... I love the place and love living there. I like the freedom it gives me which I would never have if I moved back with parents...
Amanda is taking the dog soon when her mum sorts a place out for it at her house (she has about 5 bazillion cats and a few hundred thousand rabbits ffs).
I'll ring Northern Rock today and see what they say. I might not have any choice in the matter.
Thank you for being such a good listener

I only hate it because I can't use my own ideas/designs. I'm a graphic designer for a big publishing company, all the stuff i have to do is mainly corporate shit and its all a boring style, don't get to use my brain its just easy 1hour jobs. Its my own fault though as if I ahd the effort I would update my portfolio and apply for a better job at a smaller studio which does proper jobs. But because of this job i've lost interest in design so looking to join the police (well im applying in may when it opens up) which is what I originally wanted to do!

dont worry about it, we all need mates and someone to talk to. Most of the time I reckon its best to go with your gut feeling but its always good to get an unbiased opinion once in and while from someone who isnt related to the situation what so ever.

If you have a passion for something always follow it, best job will always be the one you love doing every day.

Also Dave, what willay said could be a good idea. you could rent it out for a bit on a temporary contract type thing, rent it out to someone for 6months or so, live with your parents for them 6 months and have tons of fun, then go back to your house after if you want.
I understand about the freedom too, i moved out in jan and live with 2 mates, its such a laugh and if you ever argue with your mates its forgotten about in an hour, unlike a girlfriend
