Evo held back for a fair bit mid way through. Cossie made some ground when they got caught in traffic.

Despite stopping to pick up two drunks and drop them off home before rejoining the race...

2wd cossies are not easy cars to drive....Evo driver has lots of gay diffs and computers that compliment the driver.

Got to say how impressed I was how the Saph went at it into the corners and how it steamed along on the straights.

Cossie handled shit IMO loads of body roll etc braking mid corner. Can't understand the fascination with them

I thought the cossie looked quite sure footed. Wouldn't have been much of a video if the Evo just past it would it!

Erm did you not notice how tidy his driving was hardly what I would call roll and far from bad for a 20 year old rear wheel drive car. Agreed with Marc was sure footed and must of known the ring at the rate he was going at! Evo sounded like it was scrabbling for drip just listening to the tyres so that just shows you at what rate the Saph was going.

As much as I appreciate Jap metal, their owners seem to think they are invincible and the best, when in reality they require little to no driving talent what so ever.

I wouldn't exactly say the evo driver was pootling around either.....

Maybe I should sell an up to date rally car and buy a 20 year old Ford with a beefed up engine then And just because an Evo has AYC it doesn't make the car go quick around corners by itself. A poorly driven Evo will still end upside down, even more so if driven badly against the AYC

Xantia Activa was a very very capable car! under-rated, superb 1.8 Turbo and immensely good suspension. my dad had once and was a lot of bloody fun.
