have been offered a c16xe with 97k on it! what sort of price should i expect to be paying has offered it to me for £100, too much? any help is appreciated...

All depends on condition of the engine tbh.

For £100, you can't go wrong, new cambelt, rollers and HG on it and it'll be fine.

Thats pricey for a engine

£100 seems very good TBH, if you have it, give it a FULL service whilst it's out.
