looking @ these, not sure what posh name brake discs sell for but apparently this guys stuff is good, few mates have got them and they're great, just wondering if any corsa guys have some from him?

Just buy larger diameter plain discs with GM pads.

was thinking of ate 256mm stuff but not sure of the plan with alloys, not got ABS and a couple of mechanic mates reckon they might be a bit snatchy and lock up a lot with 14's? i dunno though i'm no expert lol..

No, it'll be fine.
I had 288mm ones, they never locked up unless you stood on the pedal.
You just need to know how hard to brake.

ive been looking at cheap discs on ebay and some of them look like home made drilled and grooved its just not worth risking ur life with shitty discs im staying well away i got standard 2.0 ones and there the best money ive spent got me out of trouble a few times

this is a proper motorsport company though and their feedback looks pretty impressive for 4000+ deals (just had a nosey)...
still cant make me mind up as i might be sticking with 14's and i dont want spacers so 2.0 16v brakes clear lol

2.0 brakes under 14s will be fine. i just dont trust stuff thats way cheaper than it should be im just paranoid about things sometimes

been offered a set of discs, pads and calipers which are the ATE 256x24mm stuff, all in good nick... bit skint so cant really afford buy new pads and discs as well but this is from a garage ive used many times (specialise in vauxhalls) and he says 40 for the bits and 30 quid labour to bang 'em on..
fair price? i wont need spacers for me 3 spokes will i? lol

very gd company, quick delivery, the disks they use are delphi lockheads which are gd. see my thread, they are starting to stop better now im using them abit more
