Its a shaft that keeps the turbo spinning at all times.

Its harsh on the turbo. It puts fuel through at the wrong time so it goes through and hits the hot turbo, exploding on impact causing it to create boost / spin up. Or so i believe.

ahh no worries then, my turbo comes in at 3.5 k,, so im happy with a bit of lagginess.
