Found out what it is that is rattling when I am driving the car. Its the metal cover that slides over the exhaust manifold.

Shown here





I have pushed it back on in the picture but it wont stay there for long. It just slides up and down and rattles. I assume its some kind of heatshield. Will it be missed if i take it off?

i doubt anyone on here still has one unless there incredibly anal, and replaced it.

yer i was going on that fact that all the people with after market manifolds surely didnt have them anymore

make sure to do it when the exhaust is hot as it will come off easier lmao

i had the same problem, mine was a bit more awkward though, i shoved a screwdriver through it then pryed it off

i removed mine when i had my first corsa, just undid the edge of it, then opened it up and pulled it off

i just tried to pinch the top back together but the crack got bigger
