Not as standard but was available as an option.

If you have an engine bay pic I can tell you, or if someone posts a pic of a car with ABS someone will point out the box to look for tells you if you have it.

You can see the ABS box in that pic of my V reg sport, its the silver box on the right with the green pipes coming out of it.
If your car has ABS it should also have an ABS on the dash when you start it up!!

Had a feeling that the later 1.6 sports had it standard? Could be wrong though .

mines a w reg 1.6 sport and doesnt have abs

Nope.

GSis did, but I don't think any Sports ever did.

I had to specify it on my V/2000 1600cc.

i didnt know about the abs light cus i either didnt have one or it was broke (cant remeber which)

hopefully ill never need abs anyway! haha cus im not gonna go out of my way to fit it

If the abs was broken the light would be on all the time

yeap because my abs is broke and my light is on the time going to rip it out soon
