bought some 'fli' front speakers 6.5"
put the pods that i had bought onto the doors in the corsa, go to put the speakers in, but the speaker seems too big? they overlap the bottom of the doorcard? if i tuck them under the doorcard sticks out too far also
anyway, tuck it under, and go to put the pockets back on and they wont go back on either because the grill bits on the pockets hit the speakers too
what am i doing wrong, because loads and loads of posts i have read everyone can fit this size speaker?

Are you using the autolead adaptors?
If so i had to trim the door cards slightly to get them to pass over mine. As the part that was interfering went under the door pocket anyway.

my pods are maystar or something cant remember, had them sitting around for ages!
i cut the said bit and it fits, did it the other day, but now the speaker isnt actually very loud lol the standard ones were louder?!?!? think i should amp them, but id of thought the new ones would of sounded better than standard ones regardless

standard vaux headunit??
If so i belive the internal amp isnt up to much so an aftermarket one should improve it greatly. Although amping them is the way forwards for top quality sound
