the spare wheel and tool kit are the biggest savers.

not sure on weight but i took out rear seats/doorcards boot plastics, spare wheel, rooflining, pillar trim, tar sound deadening and didnt notice any difference. If you want to know what the car performs like when stripped out, remove the spare wheel and rear back rest. Everything else weighs fuck all

the sound-deadning is very heavy when you get it all together.
Jake - if you didnt notice a difference with the car stripped i think you must be quite unsensitive

I did notice a couple of things - the rear didnt feel as planted and became quite twitchy. Too much toe-in as standard probably didnt help with that, though.

SO you only gain 30kg - about the same if not less than a full tank of fuel compared to an almost empty one, which personally i've never noticed a difference between .

GAIN
LOSE!!!!
A car is alot more lively when empty of fuel.... every car i've ever had (bar the RR) behaved this way. The skyline is about 60kg lighter when nearing empty!!!
I have no idea on the C...
but on my 2nd B (the green one) all of the interior was binned, metal brackets ginded off, dash removed, light weight seats, wheels... it must have been around 850.
Its not easy to lose that weight but it DOES make a hell of a difference

consider why you are stripping it out before you start grinding off pieces of metal etc. Dont do it because it looks cool, it doesnt. It also isn't very comfortable for a daily driver

You know what i meant .
like i say, personally i don't feel a difference, other people may. Thing to consider though is by taking all the stuff out the back, it'll sound louder than it did before, so IMO at least like it or not, placebo effect comes into it .

yup.... if you are fond of your car, and like a stereo etc DONT strip it.
My corsa had no fans, no heater matrix, no dash, no sound-deadning, no boot lifts... no anything really. I even ripped the arches off and drilled holes in the bumpers of the green one

Yeah that's probably about right, not much more than 30 i'd imagine though, but i've never weighed them so wouldnt know . They're the easy parts though, and they weigh alot. Finding the other 120kg is where the fun starts.
