Keep pressing play, it takes you through a few pages with commentary. Hard to watch at times, but worth seeing

Goes alot further than that I'm afriad

My dad used to work for BNFl and he showed me some reports of the findings of the disaster

They were tesing the limits of both the safety equipment and the reactor itself

unfortunately it was one of those situations that should not have have happened but did for what ever reasons it was

Normally they would have got away with it and make some prtty impressive break throughs but it was a chain of events that could not be reversed

a terrible accident and no real blame can be seen from the offical reports

there was blame in the fact that people in charge denied how much/bad the radiation etc was. They reported incorrect figures to try to cover it as a smaller disaster.

I believe that chernobyl is the reason there is a rise in cancer throught the world,

Had a tear in my eye watching that,

something that was preventable caused so much disaster,

parts of the wrold will never be the same again due to that 'accident'

there are many parts of the world like that, Vietnam etc etc

it was an accident, technolgies are new and advance and unfotunatly things like this happens. Its happened with Reactors, weapons, planes, Rockets anything. Its just a part of technological development.
