Just wondering if some of you guys could give me a rough estimate on the asking price i should be looking at for my car.

I am selling it soon (about 2 months) and am looking at getting a 2001 Golf GT TDI!!!

The spec is:

1999 Corsa Club 12V
Blue with well back-to-blacked bumpoer (i.e. Mint Black)
1.0ltr Petrol
6months mot and tax. (Sailed thru last one with no probs)
37k Miles
15" Fox Alloys
Spare set of 13" Steel Rims with brand new tyres on!!
Chrome Angel Eyes
Lexus Rears
3.5" Rage Exhaust System
Badgeless grille
Infinity sound system
etc etc

Had lots of engine work done to get it running perfect with all receipts etc kept, new timing chain/belt fitted etc.

I am going to take some parts off as i know it is worth the same as standard.

Got mp3/cd player etc, with infinity door, shelf and sub speakers and infinity amp in boot with sub.

I am going to take most bits off that are worth selling seperately like lights and sounds system in boot.

Rough price would be cool thanks guys.

Gordon.

P.S. New car ideas welcome aswell. I am 19 with 2 yrs no claims want a 5dr hatchback poss a saloon. With price of like 5-6k. Looked at a 2001 golf 1.9 diesel and came out at 600 quid 3rd party f & theft. Was same price for 1.6ltr petrol golf.

Cheers.

Ive insured all my cars tpft, value from 500 -> 12000, I figured rather than linning the insurance mans pocket i'll save a bit & if I crash its my own fault for being stupid

Thats true.

But the last thing you want to do after writing your 12k car off is to pay for a new car all over again.

Although I don't like paying insurance i'd rather pay an extra couple of hundred quid and not be 11k out of pocket if i crashed.

if u try and sell it will all the mods on u will only get young lads tryin to buy it and u wont get as much for it, if u take ur mods off and sell it standard then sell ur bits on the bay then u will have young boys + girl middle aged people and old people lookin to buy it so u will increase ur selling market by 6 times! so thats wot i would do, sounds like a mint car, good luck on getn a golf my dad has a gt tdi 130 best car he has ever owned, ticks every single box!
