well after lagunas, 307's and astras...convinced me old man to get himself a 130 gttdi golf!

got one today. paid £6.5k for a 2001 51 5 door gt tdi 130 with fvwsh, every invoice, totally mint. 1 owner from new 60k! got climate control n 6 cd changer etc

thats a good price?

omg i cant believe 2nd n 3rd gear, it actually chucks u into the back of the chair! lol soo much torque. hes gonna run it stock for a while and get some rs6 reps n a tuning box!

anyone got any pics of some tasty looking silver mk4's to give him some ideas?

Mate has one, I aquired the keys to it one night when he'd had too many down the pub. Great fun! Leather is great, 6-Speed etc.

Amazing through the gears though! You're right. He has some sort of Tuning box on there, but don't know what one it is!

brilliant cars, i work for vw so have to pleasure of driving these most days, never get bored of them. You say its done 60k? Has the cambelt been changed as they are due at 60k.

the 110 are 5 speed, the 130 and 150 are 6 speed iirc

You can even get the old 115 engine in 6 speed..

my gfriend has a mint 02 150 with leather, shes never been over 2900rpm though. Can feel the fat torque coming in then she changes up lol.
