on fitting a new (lower ratio) final drive to the f13/15 gearbox?

thought I would ask before spending 30 mins writing one and uploading pics....

Im sure someone find it useful eventually Dave

But to do something like that i imagine you would need alot of mechanical knowledge so people who are thinking of attempting it i would of thought would all ready know.

basicly by fitting a higher ratio final drive you lower the ratio of the gearbox.

not difficult to do at all, basic tools and ability needed. very good mod on tuned 1600 engines.

sounds like a brilliant tutorial worth doing, even if people do have alot of mechanical knowledge, it might not necessarily be with gearboxes!
