If i split my gsi how much could i roughly get? Is it worth doing or should i hold out longer for it to sell?

Im just getting frustrated with timewasters constantly!

Im confused as to the story on the engine and as to why the clocks show 11k miles.

the clocks display the mileage of the car not the engine. You dont clock a car just because you have a replacement engine fitted!

I think it's overpriced considering it's missing bits of the sideskirt and the seat tilt is broken etc.

That might be why it's not sold yet?

compared to what one fetched on here the other day with the headgasket gone it looks cheap.

But i agree with you!

You won't get your grand splitting it either though!

might be worth 700 as it is IMO if someone has the time/money to make it decent agian ? that millage on a shell is really high + age doesnt help, so even if the engine is good you still have things like bushes, ball joints , rust...the list can go on for such an old car

Bang on, all the suspension / steering components , interior , and everything else is all still 13 years old

the caribic blue one was in quite good condition and lowish millage, ojc has brought it i think

I paid £750 for that GSi, 69k, the interior is mint, bodywork is what you would expect for 13 years old but doesn't have anything missing from it and it has a top notch Clifford Alarm and a full CAT back exhaust and a C16XE

Im willing to except much lower than a grand on it, it sold on ebay for 700 but had a timewaster, then ive had nothing but timewasters since!

if u do decide 2 break it id b interested in the wings and front bumper if in good condition.
