think you have to tell them whenever there is any change to what you told them originally (say if you go blind or something!!) so guess that would include points.

I wouldnt risk it though if it is needed, as if you do crash it would be reason enough for them to refuse to payout.

I didn't tell them until I renewed but I'm not sure what would of happened if I'd had an accident and hadn't told them!

Didn't cost me any extra for my points anyway so I should of just rung them up and told them straight away.

tell them after then they can back date how much you owe them... i forgot to tell my insurance company and they backdated it 3 years...

Yes you do

When someone claimed against me they check your license with the DVLA. They sent me a letter asking for £69 as this would have been the extra cost on my original quote

Just tell them, most insurance companies dont charge you.. If they do its not much..

Better to be safe than sorry!
