today a mate rang up and offered me an aprentenship in the bodyshop at vw but im already working in parts for alfa/fiat... but whats the pay like in bodyshops? what kind of work is it? (im guessing accident repair, scratches, dents etc) what else can you tell me about bodyshops?

It's apparently shit even when qualified  My mate does it but he's doing an apprentiship.
I really cannot see how the pay can be so shit tbh. They bend you over when you go for a quote
He does a few jobs on the side, think he does quite well tbh.

I know a lad that does it.. He enjoys the job loads, and he is fully qualified.. but he gets paid tuppence.. even though the people he work for charge a bomb and half for everything!!
