24 valves was a typo lol.

I think the chrome mirrors were put on the newer S3's? Its a 2001 model. Not really sure tbh...

I bought it with the chip and re-map already in place. Not exactly sure on power, previous owner said they had it on rolling road at around 280bhp but they had no print out. I could really do with getting my fingure out and taking it to a rolling road day to be honest!
Ideally I would like to get it to around 330bhp but I have no cash at all at the minute.
Plus its bloody quick as it is

EDIT: My brother has a TT Quattro at 225bhp and the S3 is much quicker, so the figure of 280bhp feels about right. As i said, could do with getting it rolling roaded

Nice fella, how many miles had yours done when the belt went? Was it the water pump that went first or just the belt?

330bhp will be costly to get to, cracking cars though, I love mine.

It was the belt that went. It had done 68,000 miles so it was my own fault really.

Whats the spec on yours mate? Love them in yellow, best colour in my opinion!

52 reg, 225bhp model. Standard bar some KW coilovers. I should really do the belt and pump on mine just for piece of mind, only done 36k but its 5 years old now.

Yeah i would get it done if i was you. Cost me just shy of £1,000 to get it fixed.

How much did you get your S3 for mate? sounds like a cracking spec and especially low mileage!

to crack 300 alot of work is needed.

My maye has his S3 remapped but before we had a race I my TT was quicker at higher speeds

Since his remap though he just pulls away in every gear
