im angry

bought a new camera off ebay for £72 (pounds) from 'ebestdeal4u'

won it at 72 'GBP' and then got an email afterwards saying:

please send payment in 'USD' to this address: '12 blah blah'

i cant pay in USD im soo angry because in the listing (which I read very carefully) said absolutely nothing about DOLLARS

anyone else had dealings with 'ebestdeal4u' ??

sorry for this had to take my anger out

yes its annoying, but at $72 its considerably less than £72, if thats the case

I'd send pounds as per the auction, otherwise the seller is breaking ebay rules. Unless there a/c has been hacked?

pay pal mate, they will sort it for u. ive brought stuff in dollars and paypal normally automatically sorts the currency exchange out

so he wants you to pay the equivalent of £72 in us dollars or does he want £72 us dollars?

$72 us dollars = £37.25 british pounds

£72 british pounds = $139.13 us dollars

Tell him the advert did not state US dollars, so Sterling is all you will deal in as per advert

sounds dodgy.

if you still want to go ahead just get your bank to transfer the amount in dollars to his account. there may be a charge to do this though.

as the advert says the item is in manchester, say you will collect (its only just up the M1, lol) and pay when you get there (or does it say no collection?)?
